Year

2025 - 2026

Role

Creative Director (Campaign Lead)

Overview / Challenge

Flowco, a newly merged oil and natural gas technology company, needed its first-ever large-scale brand awareness campaign to establish itself as a bold, people-driven leader in production optimization, compressor packaging, and vapor recovery. The challenge was to create a campaign that could compete with established industry titans while setting Flowco apart through story-led creative, internal alignment across business segments, and a modern brand aesthetic which establishes Flowco as innovative and forward-thinking in a creatively traditional industry.

Process

  • Leadership & Strategy: Pitched the campaign to the CEO, secured buy-in, and took lead ownership of the project. Outlined the executive pitch alongside senior marketing leadership.
  • Workshops & Collaboration: Organized and led a cross-segment marketing workshop. Built the agenda, designed interactive collaboration forms, presented concepts, and facilitated discussions on campaign strategy, brand design, messaging, audience profiles, and commercial concepts.
  • Creative Development: Drafted and revised multiple screenplay concepts for the hero commercial, providing edits and direction. Outlined brand and UI/UX expectations for campaign alignment.
  • Budget & Coordination: Partnered with a producer to configure budget summaries across concepts and coordinated with marketing directors on overall budget allocation and 12-month ad spend.
  • Executive Pitch: Delivered the full pitch to executives, securing approval for the primary hero commercial.
  • Current Execution: Leading weekly team meetings, outlining the commercial shot list, coordinating logistics (cast, crew, budget, locations), and tracking progress in executive-facing documents.

Outcomes / Impact

  • Creative Breakthrough: Flowco’s first major cinematic brand campaign will establish the company as a bold, story-driven force in production optimization, compressor packaging, and vapor recovery.
  • Market Differentiation: By leaning into a character-driven, “Ford”-like cinematic style, the campaign is designed to set Flowco apart from competitors that rely on purely technical or product-focused creative.
  • Executive & Team Alignment: The campaign is already uniting cross-segment marketing teams and C-suite leadership around a single vision, laying the groundwork for stronger collaboration and cultural buy-in across the company.
  • Brand Awareness Growth: With integrated deliverables across digital platforms, OOH, and events, the campaign is positioned to increase brand recognition, build trust with customers, and strengthen Flowco’s reputation leading beyond the IPO.
  • Long-Term Impact: The campaign framework is designed to evolve — with performance monitoring, creative pivots, and additional assets ensuring the brand remains relevant, competitive, and consistently visible in the years ahead.
