I created the visual identity and digital presence for Moon Era Films from the ground up—crafting a brand system, designing the website, and building tools to support everything from pitch decks to festival strategy.
Moon Era Films was born from a desire to tell grounded, emotionally impactful stories with creative freedom and a strong visual point of view. To establish a professional and memorable presence, I needed to:
- Create a brand identity system that felt cinematic, modern, and enduring
- Define the brand’s voice and tone
- Build a website that could scale with the studio’s growing portfolio and community
- Develop visual cohesion across social, print, and digital assets—while honoring the artistic nature of indie filmmaking
- Defined Moon Era’s core brand attributes: cinematic, timeless, understated, emotionally intelligent
- Designed the primary logomark, wordmark, and lockups—inspired by lunar symbolism, classic film studios, and minimalist elegance
- Established a typographic hierarchy, color system, and grid system that work across print and screen
- Created a comprehensive brand guidelines document covering:
- Logo usage
- Color + type
- Photography and tone
- Brand applications (social templates, posters, film slates, merch)
- Developed templates for pitch decks, production docs, and social promotions
- Designed and built the Moon Era Films website in Webflow
- Created pages for: About, Team, Films, Community, and Application Portal
- Focused on scalability—enabling CMS-driven updates as new projects are added
- Integrated Letterboxd and Instagram embeds, dynamic team bios, and visual case studies for each short film
