As the first official production under Moon Era Films, October Daisies needed to make a strong creative and emotional impact while working within the constraints of a $4,500 total budget for production and post. The challenge was not only in executing the film with high production value but also in building credibility for the studio's future projects.

Process

  • Wrote the screenplay and led development through pre-production
  • Personally financed and produced the film on a $4,500 budget
  • Cast all talent, secured crew, and managed all logistics across production
  • Directed the film across a multi-day shoot, capturing the story’s emotional and visual tone
  • Edited the film and oversaw color, and final delivery with a small, focused post-production team

  • Built and launched the initial Moon Era Films presence around the project
